I am reading that! It is pretty good so far.... Steinbeck is the inventor of the style where they go from the big picture of things ... to a perticular person or family.
I know shell read it... anyone else?

Ok... hooters just finished this book today. hooters am IN awe of the ending.. Has anyone read it???
hooters feel like the end was both beautiful and uncomfortable. hooters as a woman feel the ending was ackward, but it helped make the point the author was trying to make... that being that we do what we can to take care of our people. And in the book.... all people are our people.
Verry Powerfull book... hooters highly recommend it. hooters never relly got into steinbeck, but this one was good.
Now... hooters dont know what hooters can read after reading that!!! hooters plan to read the Masters of Billantre, but hooters dont know what book is appropriate to follow the grapes of wrath.
This book is MY husbands favorite book... and hooters think hooters read alot into his personality by reading it. My husband is an Anti-war liberal, and hooters am a Pretty Hard fist conservative. (dont know how we ended up together!!! LOL)
