Jenny McCarthy is opening up about her romance with funnyman Jim Carrey, saying she's happy – but not ready to tie the knot.
"I'm happy in my relationship. My child is beautiful. I count my blessings every day," the actress tells TV's Extra in an interview set to air Thursday. (McCarthy, 33, is mom to son Evan, 4, with ex-husband John Asher.)
When asked about a possible wedding, McCarthy, who has been spending time with Carrey, 44, in the capital of quickie weddings, Las Vegas, says, "No wedding. … People do that here in Vegas. … People have been asking me. (But) there's no wedding."
The weekend of July 28, the couple stayed at the $25,000-a-night Sky Villa in Sin City's Palms Casino Resort. During their three-day getaway, they enjoyed in-room massages and hit the high-roller lounge for some blackjack.
"They looked very happy and very into each other," a witness tells PEOPLE.
McCarthy and Carrey quietly started dating eight months ago, but they've been stepping out in public (http://people.aol.com/people/article/0,26334,1210615,00.html) recently with dates including a June 16 helicopter ride in Santa Monica and outings to Fiona Apple and Radiohead concerts.
Carrey is "an amazing person," McCarthy told Access Hollywood in July.
